The customer selects onscreen from three types of print.  
  • ID, which is a classic photo booth strip of four poses.  
  • Funny, which lets you select a graphic frame to go around each photo.  selection from 100+ frames.
  • Fashion, which places a wig or hat around customer's head.

Yes you can have a bride and groom name or company information printed on the strip.  Instead of 4 pictures, customer will get three, with your image in the fourth position.  To add the image file, follow the instructions under the Logos section of the Owner's Manual.

A media kit includes a roll of paper and a scroll of ink for 600 double prints.  The scroll passes through 4 colors for each shot, transferring to the photo paper through dye sublimation.  The strips are 2" x 6".  

USB port add-on

The USB upgrade option puts a USB port and software into the unit to automatically upload when a memory stick is inserted.  This allows you simple access to the digital photos of your customer, great for additional services for your customer.  The USB is not accessible to the consumer.  Each set of pictures is about 9 MB, so just over 100 sets will fit onto a 1 GB memory stick.

Computer skills

Uploading images into the fourth slot, as well as your own custom frames for Funny style, is performed by properly naming the files and inserting a memory device during reboot.  The CPU is Windows-based, however the program executes such that you cannot operate other Windows-based programs on the machine.  The Owner's Manual along with patience, following the instructions, and trial and error make the photo booth ready for you to find the best settings for your operation.


Admin and Reporting

The configuration menu is where the owner of the machine changes settings.  You control everything :
    horizontal photos or vertical photos
    prices, including how to set for free use
    printer, camera, and dollar bill acceptor connections and settings
    which strip styles to allow or disallow - ID, Funny, Fashion
    statistics on sales by product and time.
    user interactivity settings - set time customer gets at each step.

There are three buttons on the unit inside the back access panel.  1 is to enter Configuration Mode.  2 is to print a Meter Report.  3 is to take a Test photo for free.  

Meter Report

The meter report prints out on the same printer as the photos.  It tells you :

  • Report number
  • Date and time
  • Software version
  • Plays
  • Coins
  • Errors
  • Stock of paper
  • Prices for each style
  • Start and End time for each use
  • Totals for each style of strip

Languages

The photo booth can be set to either the English or Spanish language.  At this time, only English and Spanish are available.

Common Problems

Loose connections are the only common issue owners run into.  Check connections after transporting the machine.  In particular, the serial port behind the light on the i/o board should be secured.
